Chemical and pharmaceutical intermediates

In accordance with national conditions and the needs of national economic development, China classifies fine chemicals into 11 major categories, including pesticides, dyes, paints, pigments, reagents and high-purity substances, chemicals for information use, food and feed additives, adhesives, catalysts and various kinds of auxiliaries, chemicals and daily-use chemicals, and functional macromolecules among polymers. China will produce the above 11 categories of fine chemicals raw materials and intermediates collectively referred to as chemical intermediates. The main reasons for the rise of the intermediates industry in China are: firstly, compared with manufactured products, the technical requirements of intermediates are lower, and the synthesis of most intermediates is not protected by zhuanli; secondly, compared with developed countries, the production of intermediates in China has a significant cost advantage.
